Eliza's Auto Body Shop wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading order and one main heading per page
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline on every link, button, menu, filter and form field
  • Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text, with dark overlays behind any text that sits on a photo
  • Errors explained in words, never shown by colour alone
  • Labels on every form field, with clear error messages when something is missing
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels
  • Text that can be resized to 200 percent without breaking the layout
  • Scroll animations switch off automatically for visitors who have set "reduce motion" on their device, and all content is fully visible without them
  • No carousels or auto-playing media
  • Descriptive link text and alt text on meaningful images
